About

We are driven by passion for sharing the journey of aging with our clients

We are social workers with experience in grief, loss, dementia, dealing with complicated medical diagnoses, and the challenges that accompany aging. Appointments available in-home and via telehealth. Caroline Dawson, LSCSW, LCSW, focuses on the impact of life's later chapters when working with seniors, their adult children, and caregivers. She works with clients 18 and over to recognize and develop personal strengths, process grief, navigate life's twists and turns, and provide support in healing generational wounds. Caroline works with individuals, couples and families to address conflict, anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, neurodivergence, healthcare hurdles, long-standing mental health challenges, or new symptoms. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, comfort, kindness, and clarity. Caroline sees clients in both Kansas and Missouri. Emily Jeffrey ,LSCSW, works with adults and older adults in Kansas and Missouri. She is skilled in working with seniors, those dealing with chronic disease management, adult children navigating their own challenges with aging parents, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. Her philosophy is that no one should have to walk through difficult times or challenges alone, and that the therapeutic relationship can be transformational and supportive as you walk the path together. She considers herself a generalist practitioner who will take an integrative and individualized approach. Kristen Hilty, LMSW, specializes in working with older adults as they navigate aging and its many surprises, which can include anxiety, depression, grief, and chronic illness. She also supports those who have older adults in their circle of care, and who may be overwhelmed with caregiver stress and burnout. She is available in the Columbia, MO area for in home appointments, or teletherapy in Missouri. Nicole Black, LMSW ,has over fifteen years of experience working with individuals with dementia or special needs and their caregivers. She brings these years of experience to her clinical practice as she works with those experiencing grief, loss, life transition, anxiety, or depression. She understands that with the aging process there are moments when professional clinical therapy can enhance relationships, improve quality of life, and offer purpose. Nicole sees clients for in home appointments in the Columbia, MO area, or teletherapy in Kansas or Missouri.
